The Minister of Transport and Logistics Services is a key speaker at the 2024 Logistics Integration Forum
Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, participates as a keynote speaker at the 2024 Logistics Integration Forum organized by the Asharqia Chamber under the patronage and auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the headquarters of the Chamber.
Badr bin Sulaiman Al-Razizah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, stated that the participation of the Minister is a valuable opportunity for the business sector to meet with the primary official responsible for the transportation sector in the Kingdom. This allows discussions on improvement and development programs for the system, ongoing works to update transportation infrastructure, enhancing sustainable transport, and integration among relevant government entities. Additionally, the latest developments in developing new policies and strategies to enhance logistics will be reviewed.
Al-Razizah highlighted that the meeting with the Minister aligns with the aspirations and expectations of the business sector to learn about initiatives and measures aimed at achieving the goals of the logistics sector in ports, airports, railways, roads, and also enhancing the use of modern technology in the transport sector, contributing to supporting economic growth in the Kingdom, creating promising investment opportunities, and improving transport efficiency.
The forum will discuss the role of government entities in achieving logistics integration, investment opportunities in logistics and economic zones, as well as addressing the major challenges facing logistics zones and ways to address them with relevant authorities.
